Purpose: Driftwood Yacht Club’s officers and other communicators (e.g., Gateway Editor & webmaster) would like to have your e-mail address in order to improve the club’s ability to communicate with you. Club Officers and function committees may use them for up-to-date communications with you. Anticipated benefits are listed below, at the end of this page.

Privacy Policy: Your e-mail address will not be given, transferred, or sold outside the club. As the address list grows, it may eventually be published in the club membership roster as a means of improving communications between members. Prior to any such publication, which would be available to all members, you will be informed by e-mail and given the opportunity to opt out of the publication.

Members who submit addresses are asked to resubmit as they change e-mail services.

Benefits:

• The club can do bulk distribution to more members, faster, cheaper, and more efficiently.
• Telephone committees can be supplemented.
• Important event announcements can be rushed to members.
• Changes to Gateway information or Calendar can be distributed quickly.
• Personal notes from committee chairs to committee members will be more efficient.
• Raffle winners can be notified.
